About Edge Technologies

Edge Technologies is a small Roblox technology company which was formed in May 2024 by Tidal Holdings, most recognisable for their flagship group called Coastal Corporation. At the time of founding, Edge Technologies was called Coastal Edge, and operated in conjunction with Coastal providing highly advanced technologies for all applications. The first product we released was called smartAccess, and was a huge success and was loved by our customers.

It was then decided amongst the Tidal investors that the company should begin to operate as a standalone company, rather than as the sister company of Coastal. So the company was renamed to Edge Technologies, in an effort to display our passion for being at the cutting edge of technology. A second product was released during this time, smartBarrier. Aswell as an update to smartAccess.

Edge Technologies then entered an agreement with SF Tech Group, where the company will now use the award winning product distribution service, Serpent, instead of an off the shelf solution. This new technology allowed us to pioneer in many ways, including allowing us to facilitate licence transfers. Fast forward to September 2024, and smartScreen was released. This was also the time where management issues started to arrise at Tidal Holdings, which resulted in the closure of Coastal. In a bid to save Edge Technologies from collapsing, a corporate acquisition of the company was initiated by SF Tech Group in mid September. The acquisition was successfully completed mid October 2024.
